Tranquil Retreat in Coorg I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb in Coorg, and it exceeded all expectations. The property nestled amidst the lush greenery of Coorg offered a serene and tranquil retreat. What truly set this Airbnb apart was its location. Surrounded by coffee plantations and with a breathtaking view of the lake, it provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The mornings were spent sipping coffee on the veranda, enjoying the sounds of nature. The host was exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Their local recommendations for sightseeing and dining added a personal touch to the experience.
Fantastic location! A great getaway house for the family with fab lake views and walks. Highly HIGHLY recommend! If you end up choosing to stay here, make sure you get the exact route to get there in advance, as most navigation apps (Google, Apple) don’t map, and the best route to get here is actually not on the map (yet!).
Coorg Toddy Farm villa is one of the most visually stunning places I have ever stayed at. The team there is absolutely warm and caring. They are continuously around to take care of every basic need of yours. If you love nature and are looking for a quaint place surrounded by forest, book this place.
- The Dubare Elephant Camp 30-minutes away from the home is a must-visit specially for kids. You can mingle with elephants, learn about them, give them a bath, and even feed them. There are also plenty of trekking trails, waterfalls nearby to explore while there.
- The Harangi Backwaters 15-kms away are another mesmerizing sight that can be reached by off-roading. This is a clean, serene place and the sunset views are to-die-for.
- The home is surrounded by the Evergreen coffee estate. You can request the caretaker for a guided tour to walk around these coffee plantations.
- One can also set out to explore Mysore along with Coorg.
