Basecamp for the wild Highlands with a sea view. Reconnect with nature and explore the wild landscape of the north west highlands of Scotland. Basecamp is contemporary accommodation nestled on the edge of the village of Ullapool and is the perfect place to set yourself up for a week of adventure or just pure relaxation. With a sea view, watch the ferry pass by in the morning and the sunset in the evening. Basecamp's interior, inspired by the surrounding landscape, is designed to offer a cosy and relaxing experience, with a touch of luxury. We offer a super king bed OR twin beds, both under a large skylight. All our bedding and linen is bought with sustainability in mind as are the local toiletries. There is a large shower in an en-suite bathroom. The kitchen is small but well equipped and the living area has a wood burner with a small oven for baked potatoes. There is a private stone walled garden with a table and seating and a decking ramp to the front door.

Basecamp is a perfect location for exploring the area, and is cosy and welcoming to come back to after a day in the hills. The bed is super comfy, the kitchen and living space has enough for you to feed, relax and entertain yourself. The design of the place is great and every day we found more details that made us smile. Great place!
We were delighted the moment we stepped inside. Beautifully designed and decorated, basecamp had everything we needed for our holiday and more. The furnishings were high quality and even the highland soap and shampoo were special. With hill and loch views, and just a few minutes’ walk from the harbour, it was a perfect location.
Brilliant location. Cosy, chic and classy. Everything we needed. Fantastic bed so comfy with beautiful bedding. Nice touch was cheese, oak cakes, wine, tea, real coffee and milk.
Great ‘base-camp’ for the area!
Le cottage de Lu est très accueillant. Il est particulièrement propre et très bien placé pour toutes les activités d'Ullapool. Lu est venue nous souhaiter la bienvenue et vérifier que tout se passait bien. Nous avons vraiment aimé notre séjour dans ce cottage.
