An absolutely beautiful home, very relaxing, very quiet. Easy to switch off from the outside world and listen to the birds singing away. Fresh scones and tablet left out and additional details specific to our booking regarding bringing our dog. Water bowl left out, dog biscuits which our dog sniffed out immediately and very cosy blankets with dog prints on them. We will be back in the future. Thanks again to Kate and Candace for letting us stay.

We are 3 motorcyclists looking for a location from which we could explore the NC500. Broom Cottage was the perfect place to relax after a hard day riding. It was very comfortable and we all felt right at home. A lovely location.

Absolument magnifique ! C'est paisible, calme, avec une vue splendide. On s'y sent super bien. La literie est hyper confortable. Kate est adorable, un accueil chaleureux, pleins de gentilles attentions. Je recommande vivement !

We enjoyed our stay at Kate and Candice's house. The lounge and dining room have a mid 20th century aesthetic which pairs well with the 18th ( ?) century cottage. An interesting house offering warm relaxed comfort. Candice and Kate are generous and thoughtful hosts. We arrived to fresh scones, chocolates, welcome cards and flowers. The kitchen is a wee galley kitchen, small but well provisioned with quality pots and pans. Ian particularly liked the selection of books in the library and the views of the loch from all the windows. We both enjoyed watching the changing vista during, sun, rain, wind and snow. Easy walks nearby. The house is within driving distance of Ullapool and much more that Wester Ross has to offer.
