Lochbroom Leisure Centre has a swimming pool, sauna, gym and sports hall, you can also enjoy a game of tennis or badminton, or practise on the indoor climbing wall before venturing out to the mountains.
Visitors are made very welcome at the lovely 9-hole golf course, with stunning views over Lochbroom. What better location for the keen golfer?
There is a thriving music and arts scene in Ullapool and surrounding areas. During the summer you will find music every week at one of the bars or hotels and The Macphail Centre often stages opera, ballet, orchestras or touring theatre productions.
Listen and watch the award winning Ullapool Pipe Band and highland dancers who perform weekly in the summer at the Calmac car park.
Ullapool hosts Feis Rois 3 times a year where musical students may study, there is also a Guitar Festival in October.
Then of course there is Hogmanay with a Ceilidh at the village hall and dancing into the wee hours.

Its an area where you do need a car, especially to explore the north west stunning coast. Bring your cycles so you can cycle around the village and tracks on the nearby estate.
