This home was great for us all. The adults had a great time and the home was beautiful. The kids enjoyed the games downstairs and the loft area! Took them by the lake and had a bone fire it was a great experience for us all. The home was spacious, beautiful and looked the cabin feel!

This location is a wonderful place to be. However, we had several troubles that made it somewhat frustrating and unpleasant. 1) We did not receive check-in instructions the morning of our first day. When I called for help, it required a half hour on the phone. 2) There were no instructions on how to use anything on the property, which made it difficult to get along with the appliances. 3) The oven frustrated us the entire time we were there, no instructions that we could find, either on location or online. It's an unusual oven and we didn't know how to operate it. I called and had 30 minutes on the phone, then got cut off. No good result. 4) The lowest level was FREEZING cold, with just a space heater for 3 rooms and a bath. 5) The door to the deck didn't function properly, and the kids and women couldn't operate it; it was even difficult for the strong men. When you pay as much as we did for this lodging, we expect things to be in better repair. 6) No check out instructions.

The listing exceeded our expectations! The space easily fit our group of 10 friends, had beautiful views, very accessible lakefront for water games (volleyball, swimming, canoeing & docking our renter pontoon boat). We really enjoyed cooking/eating outside, using the fire pit and playing yard games. There was a few great golf courses within 10-30mins of the house and we took the boat around the lake to fish & eat at the Dirty Turtle restaurant one day. This house was everything we could have wanted for a large gathering!

This was our second year staying here. We absolutely love it and will continue to return every year if possible! It’s a great place for families, friends, and making memories.
