In town for a wedding, location was close. Unfortunately the water was yellow and smelled of rust. We had to use bottled water to brush our teeth. The shower liner was brown and filthy. There were dead bugs throughout the house. There were dirty underwear and shorts under one of the beds. The linens, towels and pillows were worn and stained to the point that it should have been thrown out. There were no window covering on the windows (including the window next to the toilet that looks out to the main road. I did reach out to the owner and she did reply quickly to apologize and offer to have us check out a day early. Unfortunately, we were in town for a wedding and had no time to spare. This property has a lot of potential but needs some TLC.

Such a great place for my family to stay during wedding weekend! Susan and Matt were so helpful and responsive.

Absolutely gorgeous home in a gorgeous location with a wonderful assortment of books. Plenty of room for my family, who was in town for a wedding. My father in particular has a love of older homes and was in heaven here. Susan was extremely communicative. We had an issue with the oven and she even had her daughter come check in on us within hours of being notified about the issue.

This is a nice house in a beautiful natural setting, great condition considering its age. Nicely furnished and very quiet, just what we needed for the long weekend. The owners are friendly and very responsive to our questions.
