Well House is lovely, located in Belford which has plenty of local amenities, food store, pubs, coffee shops, golf course. Reasonably Locally so many great places to visit Alnwick castle and gardens, Bamburgh castle, Holy Island. The house has 4 generous sized double bedrooms which are well appointed. Very comfortable beds and cosy sitting room. Welcoming cosy well-equipped kitchen. Very good hot tub which has capacity for 6 people. Our family and friends are all active, there are a few steps if you use the rear parking space to be aware of but there is good parking outside the cottage on the main road and there is a ground floor double bedroom for any visitors who need level access.

A perfect Xmas/New Year getaway. The small village is perfect and is easily commutable with Bamburgh, Holy Island and Seahouses, etc. where you can enjoy the coastal views and walks. Very easy to find and two pubs, supermarket, chippy, coffee/sandwich shop all within 300 yards. The cottage was bigger than expected, but homely and traditional which is just what we were after. Thank you for a fabulous stay!!

Lovely house with plenty of room for 7 of us. Only drawbacks were - no cot or high chair supplied, I would expect these to be available in a place listed as family friendly. Lack of high chair made meal times quite difficult with our one year old, would be really helpful to have one for future guests. Other than that it was great, we would book again in future.

The cottage was simply lovely and has all the ameneties you could ask for. The welcome hamper as an apology for some leaks was an amazing touch

We had such a fantastic weekend. The house had so much character and was well equipped with everything you could ever need. Our 2 children loved a little bit hide and seek as there was so many rooms and some good places to hide. The hot tub was a winner! Morning, noon or night it got its use out of our party. I was a big fan of the bath tub so took advantage of that. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms had lovely warm feel to them. We were in a central location for going to Berwick and Bamburgh for day trips. There was shops and pubs etc in Belford aswell if you did just want to stay there. It has been a memorable weekend for our family and we hope to return there in the future.
