My family was looking for a quick overnight getaway to relax and refresh. Linda and her husband were very responsive and accommodating. Once we arrived they were very welcoming and available to give us a rundown of the property and its features. The home was fully stocked with all the essentials and extras. The outdoor living area was great. The deck area and the hot tub with privacy was great and my family fully enjoyed every minute of it. We didn’t want to leave and in fact can’t wait to stay again for a longer stay. The Aroma of the house as soon as you walk in makes the home feel so cozy. Thank you for having us on your land of paradise.
Absolutely wonderful, Linda and her husband were wonderful, everything was perfect, the setting, close to everything, clean, beautifully decorated. The hot tub, pond, lights, flowers, gorgeous! So close to Marion Illinois, not too far to Walkersbluff casino, which was very nice. We will be back, thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!!
What a great experience 1 night isn’t enough to take in all the spectacular sites and decor that you can tell the host worked hard on making your stay a memorable experience. Best Airbnb I’ve stayed in over the past 3 years
Linda was an absolutely fabulous host. The area was so quiet and peaceful. The ducks on the pond were fun to watch sitting on the deck/dock. The hot tub was perfect. We even found an amazing ice cream shop not far from where we were staying.
Great place, amazing view for the locality. Cozy, charming, and comfy. Would absolutely stay here again.

My husband and I are semi retired. We both are from the area, and raised our family here. After my father passed, we decided to make his place an Airbnb. He just loved his spot on our property. We wanted to share it with others, so they could come to love it as much as he did. We enjoyed hosting guests so much we have opened our second Airbnb, The Hideaway, Couples Retreat. We had the perfect hidden spot. It’s sure to live up to its name.
