This was an outdoor adventure for our group of two fathers and their sons and the area did not disappoint with lots of wildlife. The cottage is more of a home with new windows and doors and plenty of room for the 5 of us. This would be a great location for families with small kids as the beach in front is very swim friendly and shallow. The only downfall is that the neighbours are close, other than that it's a nice spot on the lake. We would definitely go back.

The home was dirty and needed a thorough cleaning. We discovered dead roaches in the cupboards. The home included several step-downs and step-ups within the house that were unsafe and risk for injury. There were several cracked windows in need of replacement. The grass had not been cut for many weeks and the yard was strewn many branches and debris. There were damaged screens that precluded us from opening windows on hot nights. The stairs to the upper parking were unsafe, with no railing and highs step-up and high step down. The requirement to not flush toilet paper was absurd and extremely unsanitary. The furniture dirty and there were cigarette holes in the arm. Overall I would not recommend renting this property in its current state. These conditions precluded us from having an enjoyable stay.

This place was amazing for our growing family. We had 8 adults and 4 kids and we never felt like we were bumping into each other. Carrie and Greg were awesome hosts going above and beyond what was needed! Definitely would go back!

My family and I wanted to make the most of our time together but the state of the home made this very difficult. We were booked for 4 nights and only stayed 2. We have stayed at a number of cottages/other properties through Airbnb and never encountered a home in this condition. The dishes required rewashing due to stains. In addition to this, the amount of dirt found on the floors, couches, coffee table etc. was unacceptable. My brother, mom and son had allergic reactions due to the dust/dirt/pet hair on the couch and blankets provided. The play pen was stained and just thrown on the closet floor. The floor was mopped by hand twice and turned the paper towel black. In addition to the heavily damaged windows, the doorknob was broken, sink rusted, shower heads dirty, pillows and carpets stained. The fridge/freezer was also not in working order. Ultimately, the home is in very poor shape. Cleanliness is a major issue not to mention the number of items requiring repair.
