We came from much further away than expected and arrived very late. Cheryl had no issues with accommodating. The check-in was seamless, easy, and secure. In our brief time in morning, we enjoyed breathtaking views of the bay, coffee in a delightful enclosed porch, a pleasant breakfast, and a short walk through woods burgeoning with mushrooms and beautiful foliage this time of year. We found ourselves repeatedly stating that we did not wish to leave and would cheerfully stay for a week or six.

I had a great stay. Cheryl was extremely friendly and welcoming. Location is remote, but I loved the peacefulness with it, as I was looking for a getaway to recharge. I would/ probably will stay with Cheryl again in the future.

Great cozy and quiet place on Lake Superior to relax. We had the run of the house so it was super quiet and felt like queens. Loved the hot tub and breakfast as well as the coffee. Kitchen has all the necessities for cooking and a nice gas stove. Fireplace looked inviting however we didn’t use it but it had all necessary items to start a warm cozy fire in the living room. WIFi worked great and bed and pillows were cozy. Short 25 min drive to Houghton for dining options.
