We very much enjoyed our stay at the Stonehaus cabin in April 2024, late in the snow season. The cabin was very cozy both temperature and vibe-wise! The Nest thermostat kept the house warm and the self-starting gas fireplace was an added bonus. Appliances were in great condition, kitchen stocked with essentials/cutlery. Also, always good to have a clean washer and dryer. Attention was paid to those having little ones - There was plastic cutlery, child gate at the top of the stairs and a good practical high chair for babies - the same one we use at home. The haus was very clean. We appreciated the no shoes policy - for our family at least it gives an added layer of cleanliness. Bathrooms as well, clean and updated. This goes for the bedding, kitchen and laundry room. Overall a great stay coupled with the excellent customer service. Janaka was very responsive on texts prior and during our trip.
Cozy cabin. Nice to have a grocery store down the street. There was no snow at the cabin, but lots of snow just a quick drive up the hill. The family had a great time.
Very cute cabin close to the local grocery store. Great location with a big open field in the backyard. It snowed a few days before our trip so the kids had a blast playing in the field in the snow. They also enjoyed the game room loft. We had a great relaxing time and definitely would recommend staying here.
Good cabin to stay in. The house has heaters, very much needed through winter visits. Parking fit 3 vehicles comfortably. BBQ grill was very handy and gas plenty of propane. Washer and dryer and also handy and I must say dairly quiet. Towels and bed sheets were soft and of quality. Overall would recommend and the host is very professional with any concerns and matters that may arise. For the price it was better than a hotel especially for a party of 9 adults, 1 toddler, and 2 infants. Hot water was no issue and quick to come out. Place had a lot of dishes you may need which came useful when we had to cook dinner. Aside from the walls not being completely closed and noise transferred through the house, if they aren't talking you will not hear them snore. Good place.

Quaint and quiet neighborhood off of HWY 4. Lots of trees. Perfect getaway to relax. Very close to Big Trees Market the closest Grocery Store and Restaurants. The street is tarred and plowed first during winter months.
You generally don't need AWD vehicle/snow chains to get to Arnold in winter. Sometimes you need AWD vehicle/snow chains to get to Bear Valley Skii Resort/Lake Alpine 40 min away from the cabin during the winter. Check the weather before you head up there.
