Casa Buena Vista is a lovely casita just steps from the beach. The interior has updated features and quiet ac units. The large private patio is a great place to relax and enjoy the partial view of the Sea of Cortez. There are several restaurants nearby and a grocery market is less than a mile away and an on-site beach bar offers breakfast & lunch. Although the unit is just off the highway the road noise is very minimal at night. Good value for the money.

Best option to stay at the Pelican Reef Resort, Casa Buena Vista is the only one bedroom plus living room option in the entire resort. In addition, the outdoor patio space is incredibly useful and wonderful to have. We had most of our meals out there, enjoying the privacy, temperature and great view. Nancy is a very supportive host and her co-host, Adam, is a wonderful guy and super knowledgeable about the area (he is also a great kite instructor- if you are interested in learning or improving your skills!). We had a wonderful time during our multi-week stay and would highly recommend this place.

The casa is nicely equipped and furnished. The large covered patio with glimpses of bay through the landscaping really makes the place special. It’s located within a great little community of about two dozen casas and casitas arranged along a private road that leads down to the beach. While the casa itself is not exactly beachfront, it’s just a very short walk to beautiful shared beachfront. The configuration allows everyone in the community access to the beach and shared facilities including shade cabanas, view decks, fire pits and a small bar/restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. There are also kayaks and paddleboards available for guests to use. The property is co-hosted by Nancy and Adam. Nancy is remote and responds to any inquiries prior to and during your stay. Adam is onsite, and can address any questions or issues during your stay. Both are quick to respond and are very helpful.
