What a genuine, lovely person. Margot and Nala welcomed me into their home, nothing was too much trouble, good local knowledge. Nothing was any trouble despite her busy life and couldn’t do enough to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The homemade soup and the evening chats were above and beyond what I expected. It was a pleasure and would definitely try to stay when in the area

Margot went out of her way, she picked us up at the railway station. Took us to the restaurant of our choice. Tea and cookies every time we returned. Always making sure we were taken care of. Such a busy person, but always there for you. Ann

A very brief but lovely stay in Ardrossan! Margot was the perfect host and even made us up a breakfast to take on the early ferry. Would stay again, thanks so much Margot ☺️

We really enjoyed our stay at Margot place,even though it was only for one night. Me and my daughter where on the bike packing trip towards island of Arran and ferry terminal is 10 minutes away from Margot house. We were allowed to store our bicycles safe overnight in the summer house at the back of the house. Margot is a very good host with the nice bubbly personality,we were welcomed with tea 🍵 and biscuits and had a relaxing chat. The room was warm,nice and clean with tea and coffee facilities, The bed was really comfortable and we had a good night sleep Bathroom/toilet was clean and tidy we decided to treat ourselves with a bath 🛀 Breakfast was very good with selections of jams,scrambled eggs, toast,tea and orange juice 😋 I can highly recommend this place to stay although we haven’t got much time to explore the local area. Thank you Margot for having us,hope to see you again soon xx Edyta and Julia
