Not in the best neighborhood, neighbors are noisy, not the hosts fault. Overall it was fine.

I wish I had picked a different place. The only benefit I had for staying at this place is that I had a roof over my head. The carpet in my room had a smell of dirty wet fabric. My lungs were hurting really bad. The window is locked and can't be opened. the garbage bins from the bathroom to the kitchen almost never emptied. From the host to the roommates there was not even Hi once. I was avoided like if I was Freddie Krueger.

I felt like I was staying with my younger brother. Ahn was such a kind and caring host, it made my stay in a brand new city a fantastic experience. Numero Uno supermarket is just around the corner and I felt comfortable walking there even at night. Walking to USC via Hoover St. takes less than 10 minutes, and I would take the E train to go Dignity Hospital where I did a few of my electives. If/when I come back to LA, I will be staying at this place. Thanks for everything Ahn

The value and location were terrific, short walk from grocery stores and other amenities. The parking spot was also very convenient. The hosts were tremendously accommodating and the spacious room was in fact as spacious as advertised. My one note is that the kitchen is borderline unsanitary... lots of bugs, smell, and unclean surfaces. Common use dishware and cutlery were also often unclean. The bedroom did NOT have this problem. It was clean. I would advise eating takeout - but even with that, it is still a great value for the area.
