Anh's place is perfect for a temporary stay in LA. I spent 6 months in the city as a visiting scholar in USC, which is 30 mins walk from the house. Considering the avarage rent in LA for a single bedroom, Anh's place is *really* convenient. Of course, you should not expect to live in a rich and fancy neighborhood nor in a house of the latest fashion. Though, the apartment is cozy and is really well connected through the LA metro system to the most attractive places (e.g., Santa Monica, Culver City, Hollywood Blvd). Also, Anh is really responsive to any issue you have and is willing to help whenever it's possible for him.

Anh was really responsive during my stay. I rented his bicycle for free and it was really helpful to commute to the office. His sister Tea was really responsive and communicated well whenever we need some help or something to discuss. The rent was affordable for me because I can use kitchen for cooking, the room was spacious, and Anh set private shower time window for me to get ready to go work. Overall, I really recommend this place who is looking for affordable housing near downtown LA or Ktown. My friends visited LA as well and Anh gave us a good deal to share the house to stay comfortably:) Cons were that there are a lot of risk if you send your package; I sent 7 packages from NY and they were all stolen even though I put the note(deliver it to the back porch). Usually delivery guys DON'T care and also the mailbox was broken. It was a huge mistake because I sent all the necessary thing for the summer in those packages. BE CAREFUL of the robbery cause lots of homeless were out there

Great deal, nice host, lots of privacy. Neighbors can get noisy. Overall, for the price, it’s exactly what you should hope for.

Best value for the price in Los Angeles. Very well kept property and the hosts were so kind and accommodating!
