Mario's place is a perfect spot in Hayes Valley, with a lovely little neighbourhood. The apartment is lovely, very easy to be in - good wifi, peaceful and you are in extremely good hands if anything needs attending. The smoke alarm battery died one night I was there, and started beeping but neighbour Charles (who quite rightly everyone who stays at Marios' meets and loves) - Charles came in and fixed it. He also meets you with the keys. Mario also arranged a bonus clean for the apartment for my long stay there and timed it around my schedule. Less than 1 min walk, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants. There is also a little local store for your immediate grocery needs, but like lot so big cities it a fair walk (but relatively easy Uber) to the Wholefoods and Safeway. If you want to be closer to Downtown, and not have to walk the hills - this is a lovely apartment and I would highly recommend.

From the start, the communication with Mario was answered in a timely and efficient manner. The apartment is ideally located on a quiet street in Hayes Valley, that is close to wonderful restaurants and boutiques. As one who enjoys cooking, the kitchen is well-equipped. The washer and dryer are always a welcomed addition. The bedroom is nicely separated from the living areas, and the only negative was that the sofa bed was rather short and uncomfortable for a lengthy stay, but more comfortable when left closed as a sleeping couch. The small deck and shared outdoor space were nice. Mid our stay, cleaners came and did a fabulous job! Overall, we highly recommend Mario’s place and look forward to staying here in the future.

I stayed at Mario’s place for a month working remotely and had a great experience! Mario’s place is in a fantastic location in Hayes Valley with lots of restaurants and boutique shops. It is a little less than a mile to Alamo Square Park and 2 miles to Golden Gate Park. Mario’s place is very clean and is as pictured. Mario had the cleaners come during my stay and refresh the linens and towels which was really nice. It’s very comfortable and very quiet for sleeping with the bedroom at the back of the unit. It was also convenient to use the parking pass for the garage when renting a car and not have to worry about finding street parking. Mario was friendly and great to communicate with. I had an issue with the washer/dryer and he was very proactive and responsive in seeing that the issue was resolved. I would definitely stay at Mario’s place again!
