The house is fantastic! My family was very comfortable there. It was the perfect space for our family of four. We especially appreciated the cozy living room. Amanda is a great host.

We stayed here for a month as a family of three with my husband working from home. We found the overall experience to be good. The kitchen was somewhat lacking in supplies, such as only providing one dish towel, no large skillets or baking sheets, and no colander. We purchased these things for ourselves to make life easier. Also, unfortunately, during our second day, there was a problem with the hot tub. I reached out via email, then the next day reached out through Airbnb, and then texted the third day. Once I texted the host, she did respond quickly. However, it was another two weeks before the problem could be fixed, making the hot tub unavailable to us for half of our visit. There was also some small wear and tear issues that I believe were related to a previous guest. Overall we enjoyed our stay. If we were to stay in the Boston area again, we would likely stay closer to the Boston metro itself.

The house is gorgeous, charming, and well appointed. Amanda is a terrific host who focuses on guests’ comfort. The hot tub is a wonderful little luxury.

I was asked by the host to leave a 5 star review. The house was very hot, felt like 100 degrees on floor 1 which had no air conditioning (my infant son was too hot to stay on floor 1 during the day in July). I felt like the host was invasive to my privacy and having her neighbor watch us and report back to. her. The driveway is shared and hard to get out of the car because you hit a wall of rocks. The house is not conducive to a stroller or someone with bad knees, a lot of stairs at the entry, it was extremely difficult carrying a car seat or groceries in the entrance up the stairs. The hot water in the shower was hit or miss, had to be reset most times. The front door lock gave us a lot of trouble.
