We honestly have no idea why this place has positive reviews. We waited no less than 1.5 hours for any meal we had, even when we ordered literally the day before our food was still over an hour late. We waited two hours for coffee. The staff are all nice people but they’re not trained. How are we supposed to be ok waiting hours for everything when we can see the manager and employees are literally lying on beds laughing right next to the reception area? There was urine on our toilet seat when we arrived. The bathroom was very dirty. Our extra pillows smelled so badly of moth balls we had to put them outside. What else can we say? We don’t recommend staying here.

Great stay, great location, great communication. The stay was wonderful - we were greeted upon arrival and help was available whenever we needed. The views from the room couldn’t have been better, and we even got a beautiful sunset to watch. They also have great food with great portions. Would definitely come again!

The place is in a quiet place up on hill about 30 mins away from downtown Kandy. Call them for directions as Google Maps will only direct you to the bottom of the hill. The triple room I stayed in has big windows with a beautiful view of the mountains and a lake. You can hear all kinds of insects at night and birds in the morning. The shower pressure is very strong 😃. There is hot water all the time. However, if you don’t get hot water, just tell the staff. It was a quick fix for me. I had breakfast and dinner here all 3 nights I stayed. My 7th day in Sri Lanka and so far one of best authentic cuisine I’ve had so far. It’s basically home-cooked meals prepared fresh with seasonal and organic ingredients. So, order ahead. I recommend, Sri Lankan style Chicken Biryani, Fried Chicken, Fried Fish, & Pumpkin Soup. Breakfast was included and there were different Sri Lankan breakfasts each day which were all delicious. The serving size is pretty big. I always had leftovers. The staff are very well-trained and super attentive to your needs. Rajita made sure every guest in the resort were taken care of during breakfast and lunch. The owner and his wife are super nice too. If nothing else, I would definitely come back here for food.
