I visited for the eclipse only the 7&8, less than 24 hours. Immediately upon booking i received a message from the host listing the rules and also mentioning if we needed and extended check out time the request ahead of time. Being that i booked 4 days prior to my arrival I immediately messaged the host and let them know why we were visiting and asking for a slightly later check out. I was denied that extension and had to be out at 10 am after only arriving at 9 pm the day before. Rules are rules but customer service should triumph, especially when something as notable as a solar eclipse is happening. The next day after we rushed out in the morning i realized I’d left my wallet, when i asked the host if they came across the wallet while cleaning they said no 2 hours after i messaged them. I know for a fact i left my wallet, with $400 and 2 cards and some insurance cards inside, so i will go as far as to say that someone involved stole my wallet. Wouldn’t stay here again for that fact.
