The cottage is surrounded by 43 acres with a pond and incredible views of the Shawangunk mountains — but is mins of some of the most popular spots to eat, hike, and explore in Ulster County. Vaulted ceilings with skylights in the open kitchen/dining/living space downstairs give it a sense of light and airiness, as well as the windows looking out onto nature, fields, or historic barns. We love the way the home is split across the two levels, giving guests privacy and space to spread out. The downstairs is an open living space flowing from the large — and well-stocked — kitchen to the dining area to the living room. There’s a spacious bedroom with a queen-sized bed on the ground floor, as well as the home’s full-size bathroom with soaking tub and shower. Upstairs is a large room with windows looking out to the mountains, a dedicated work space, a reading nook, and a queen bed. The yard is fully fenced and there’s a firepit, as well as a large deck with outdoor dining spaces and a grill. Pet Friendly but Meticulously Cleaned with a Fenced Yard. We love to welcome well-behaved dogs, but do ask for an additional $50 fee per pet per stay to help us with additional cleaning and wear and tear – and, of course, would hope you would pick up after your dog as you would at home! We thoroughly wipe down and vacuum all surfaces between stays to ensure a clean stay for all of our guests. There’s laundry in the basement.
