This was the perfect little getaway for my mom and me! It felt secluded and peaceful but also a quick drive to the grocery store. We also loved strolling down the road for some ice cream! The house is adorable and we spent a lot of our time outside in the gazebo, backyard, and deck! If we’re ever in the area again, we would absolutely come back!

Great fit for our needs. Backyard was peaceful and quiet with a great spot for eating meals under a covered area. We enjoyed Charles Mill Lake nearby as well as the local Mexican restaurant and ice cream shop within a short walk up the road. Kids loved having s’mores in the backyard fire pit and we enjoyed cooking meals in the smoker on the deck. Felt very homey and relaxed. Mifflin seems to be a quaint and friendly town.

Absolutely charming country cottage! Very peaceful and comfortable. As other reviewers have noted, don't miss Chuy's Tacos & Margaritas and Radar's Dairy Bar - both within 2 to 3 minutes' walking distance. We stayed here for easy access to tour Ohio State Reformatory (11 minutes' drive away) and had a PHENOMENAL meal at Prohibition at the Caverns! Don't miss this unique underground dining experience if you are visiting the area on a Friday or Saturday. Thanks for a great stay in your lovely home!
