Our stay at the Bay Horse Inn in West Woodburn was fantastic. Nestled in the stunning countryside of Northumberland, this lovely country inn provided us with a perfect extended weekend. The atmosphere at the Bay Horse Inn was warm and inviting, with a cosy ambiance that immediately made us feel welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of our visit was the food and drink. The inn's restaurant offered a delicious selection of dishes, made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Both breakfast and dinners were a delight. The bar also offered a wide array of drinks, including local ales and whiskies. Our room was comfortable, providing us with a peaceful retreat at the end of each day. Overall, our experience at the Bay Horse Inn was wonderful. From the friendly staff to the delicious food and drink, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

we loved the authenticity of this pub/restaurant/b&b, which has tons of character. More like a stopover on a trip than a holiday place, we enjoyed the feel of locals in the pub and travelers staying for one night. The room was spacious enough and clean, with a very good bed. Only downsides were the tiny bathroom, a plastic box that would fit better in a space shuttle than in a B&B and some noise from the heating which was heard throughout the night.

Absolutely lovely place, small quiet village with beautiful scenery. The team couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel really welcome, from our late arrival, arranging the taxi’s to the wedding we were attending and popping on some chips when we arrived! Brilliant! The breakfast was lovely, full English with choices of fruit and cereal too… Did EXACTLY what we needed it for, apart from the service which was above and beyond. Would certainly return!
