This location is perfect. It's walking distance to the lake where you can get involved with water sports. Shops, pubs are a small drive away. The lodge is clean, tidy and have all the amenities you need. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn't available during our stay as an engineer was needing to be called however we were told a few weeks in advance and was offered a reduced price on the stay. There is however a Spa located only 20 minutes away which I would recommend visiting Andy was very quick to respond, polite and offered any support needed. We would love to stay again.

Very clean and tidy, great views. Great facilities if you have dogs and lovely walks. Andy made me aware that the hot tub was broken the day before and gave me the option of cancelling, or receive some money back on checkout . We decided to go and used some of the refund to have a spa day. Andy was very helpful and even had the TV remote delivered in a taxi as the previous one I believe was taken by a previous guest. Our only complaint is that there was no hot water coming from the showers and very little water pressure and the WiFi was very poor. The WiFi worked very intermittently.

The house was absolutely amazing and very clean.We had problem with the hot tube however been sorted (money refund)Beautiful place with lots to do.The house had everything we needed and more😀Andy the host was very responsive and was so easy to sort things out.Happy with the stay 😀

First of all, the good stuff. It was generally clean, furniture was in good nick, happy days. Great location, parking available. Now. I did try to sort all of these (bar the stained bed sheets) with the host, and was basically told to fix things myself. First, after half an hour of searching for the remote, I message, to be told the previous guest had taken it and told to use a universal remote on an app (which didn’t work as you need a remote to connect them). Would I have been charged for this if I hadn’t asked? Then I mentioned the leaking tap. No one available before our stay to fix it. It was on CONSTANTLY. Noisy when trying to sleep. Send someone round in the day when we’re out. One of the single bed sheets (that we hadn’t even used) had a huge stain on it. And mostly, hot tub wouldn’t heat above 29. To be told we’d need to empty and refill, never went back above 32 degrees. Waste of time and money. Drove 5 hours for a hot tub two day getaway. Blaze ‘DIY’ host.

The lodge itself was brilliant and as shown in pictures. Andy was very responsive when I had messaged and he helped in anyway we required. Would visit again!
