Loved our stay at The Bellwether hotel! It is a very unique building with beautiful details. It is walkable to restaurants and coffee, which was convenient. The bedroom ceilings were tall and made the room feel very spacious. The temperate in the room was also very cool and comfortable. The decor is nice and we appreciated the amenities. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. I would definitely stay here if visiting Louisville again and would recommend it to others.

The Bellwether stands just steps away from some of Louisville’s most eclectic and iconic attractions. Dubbed “Restaurant Row” and voted “Louisville’s Greatest Street”, Bardstown Road offers plenty to explore during your stay, no car necessary. The Highlands is extremely walkable and bike friendly with over 30 restaurants, coffeeshops, bookstores, breweries, and endless locally-owned places to find new treasures.
As an anchor of the Park District, you will be situated between the rolling hills of two famous Louisville parks. Fredrick Olmsted, you might know his work from New York’s Central Park, designed the 400+ acre Cherokee Park which is home to boundless bike and walking/running trails, vast green spaces to explore, as well as creeks and waterways. Mr. Olmsted's firm also designed Tyler Park which is equipped with a newly designed playground and splash pad along with public tennis courts.
The Bellwether borders downtown Louisville where you can see shows and sporting events at our various stadiums and theatres, walk along the river front or the pedestrian bridge to Indiana, or travel down Bourbon Row and take a short turn to 4th Street Live!
