The room had a funky industrial vibe with a well appointed kitchen, everything you could need to prepare a meal. The breakfast hamper Sean provided was amazing. Sausages, bacon, eggs and delicious home made bircher muesli. Topped off with a home made loaf of bread fresh from the oven. Just sensational. As good as all that was, the best feature of Hawthorn Hill was the outside space. BBQ and fire pit looking over the paddocks with friendly horses, cows and geese just begging you to feed them. Sean also provided suitable snacks to give to the animals. Sitting in front of the fire with a glass of wine was the perfect end of our day. Highly recommend Hawthorn Hill if you looking for something quiet and a little different.

Sean is an amazing host, very friendly and helpful. Place is absolutely beautiful and even better than the photos. Sean was kind enough to set up a picnic for us and was absolutely beautiful. Very friendly animals to play with and Sean was even kind enough to provide food to feed to the animal. Would 100% recommend this place and will be staying again Once again thank you so much Sean for the amazing place and host with the most.

Sean has by far been one of the best hosts we’ve had. He is friendly, accommodating and gives awesome recommendations. The local home cooked food provided was exceptional and the accommodation was so homely and comfortable. Honestly one of the best air bnb’s. Thank you Sean for hosting and making our experience in Millthorpe so memorable.

Definitely would be happy to return for future treats and escapes to this gorgeous setting with wonderful interior. animals were so friendly and it was a great experience to interact with them. we loved the provided inclusions especially the easy set up fire pit, the spacious under the stars bathtub, and the great selection of a breakfast hamper. Sean was a very friendly host that made the visit so welcoming. Bed was so comfortable. The kitchen and bbq setup was extensive and well supplied.

I cannot speak highly enough about our whole experience. What a wonderful place to stay. Sean made it very easy from check in to check out. He was willing to help in any way he could. Communication was faultless. The accommodation has everything that you could possibly need and more. We really enjoyed the fire pit and the peaceful surrounds. Sean even left carrots for us to feed the horses and hay for the cows. One of the best places that we’ve stayed at. Thanks Sean for making us feel so welcome and comfortable.
