We loved our stay. When we arrived the fire was burning and the house was lovely and warm. Every possible little detail had been thought of and we felt very welcome. The property is amazing. Beautifully finished and so cosy. This was hte highlight of our trip.

Richard is a wonderful host, he is very clear with his instructions. the place is like a real heritage one, family really loved it. hope to be back in snows again..

Richards place is an amazingly home and beautifully presented inside and out. The hosts were amazing and the scenery is incredible. SUMMER NEGATIVES. WINTER OR BETWEEN SEASONS WOULD BE FINE. BUT NOT SUMMER. The house has NO air conditioning or even fans. It was extremely hot and opening the windows in summer at 35 degree nights was NOT cool enough to ensure we were cool enough to sleep. All of us had a terrible sleep and the house is about 100 metres from the highway up a hill so if you are a light sleeper trucks and cars constantly pass. One of the beds were too small for anyone over 6ft as they are beautifully crafted cast iron beds. Again the house is incredible inside and perfect for Winter or between seasons until they arrange a/c in my opinion.
