I choose this location as I’m not a people’s person. I work nights and away so not very sociable, I took my two children and they loved the surroundings as we come from a agricultural background. this ticked every box for me and them. Simon was very welcoming and not overbearing as there property is next door, which was lovely to see for once. If you have anxiety, and social anxiety this is perfect for that reason. They’ve some chickens and cats (rescue cats that DO NOT go inside or go in there property, and won’t come near you, but been an animal lover it’s nice to see animal movement. Lovely little outside area to relax in with fairy lights too!

We stayed here for a one night as we had an event in Leeds. Simon was very co-operative regarding check in as the start/end times of the event weren’t clear. The cottage is clean, comfortable and as described. For us the only improvements would be a hand towel in the bathroom, a bath towel each and a little milk for a cuppa - we didn’t have a chance to get any and didn’t realise we needed to. Overall the accommodation was what we expected and required. Would say with only one sofa 4 people might find it a bit cosy if staying more than one night!

Simon kindly booked me in at last minute & I'm so glad he did as such a lovely cottage in a great area. I really enjoyed my stay and will 100% book again when in the area.
