Rented this property for memorial weekend 2022 and arrived to find the 2 docks up on shore. After multiple texts with the property manager, they would not get them in for us. We traveled 6 hours with our boat to fish all weekend and to sit on the docks to enjoy the sunrise from one dock and the sunset from the other. The cabin is old and is not as nice as the photos present it. We are not picky people and I never write reviews- but I had to for this. VERY disappointed and would not recommend this location unless you get a confirmation the docks are in the water and they update the cabin a bit.

Terrific cabin! We had lots of fun playing cards, reading and going for walks down the road – woods on each side and barely a car went by in the winter. The log cabin is beautiful and so is the setting with tall pines all around and the snow-covered lake out the living room windows. Five deer ran past one evening! It’s quiet and private. A lovely place.

We enjoyed a very cozy winter holiday stay with our family. This was a new area of Hayward for us, and we loved the large lot and remote feel - the peninsula location gave us both sunrise and sunset views! The cabin was comfortable and charming with a great layout for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids. We had no trouble with getting there ur getting in, and Jon was quick to respond to any questions.
