I’ve never written a negative review in over 6+ years and had only positive experiences with Air bnb and they were amazing throughout this nightmare…the issues lie solely with Rosalyn, her husband who are the local owners and Evolve. We were traveling for the Easter weekend and booked this entire home for 3 nights, just as it was listed cuz we had our 2 dogs and wanted a quiet comfortable stay. Our first night was okay, but not great dirty bathrooms and sticky floors throughout. The second night we got ready for bed around 8:30p and thought we left the tv on in the living room. My husband went to turn it off and realized there were 4 college kids with a case of beer and a dog moving in to our house in the basement! When we called the owners they were very rude shouting at us that they can add guests to any of their homes if there is a separate entrance before hanging up on us they said if we were uncomfortable or wanted compensation we needed to vacate immediately. Evolve was useless

The house has been converted into two rental units. This was not mentioned anywhere in the listing, and I felt a bit deceived. There is absolutely no soundproofing or privacy, and we could hear every word of the conversation downstairs. We felt like we had to tiptoe around and speak softly because there were strangers listening to everything we said, and it was impossible for any of us to relax. The house has nice bones, but many of the accessories (dresser drawer pulls, towel hooks, kitchen cabinets, etc) are broken or damaged, and it brings down the appearance of the house significantly. The bathrooms were quite nice, with the upstairs shower being the highlight of the whole house. We had several inches of unexpected snow while we were there, and the host did not supply shovels or salt, and did not plow the driveway, which is on a very steep slope. We had an unrelated issue checking out, and the host was very flexible and accommodating, and kindly let us check out late.

The house is beautiful and comfortable. makes me feel at home. The location is great, there are markets and restaurants.
