自我介绍

Hello! My name is pronounced "Ska-ya" so I often spell it "Skya" (in case there is any confusion.) I am currently a massage therapist with a background in the travel industry. Most of my life has been spent guiding people on international luxury cycling and hiking vacations throughout Europe, Asia, and the US. My favorite way to explore and get from place to place is still on bicycle! I speak fluent German, conversant Japanese, and can find my way around in Czech and Mandarin. I like meeting new people and also adore solitude. These days I am usually travelling with my partner, Michael Oskin, and our children, currently ages 14 (girl), 12 (boy), and 7 (girl.) We are consciencious travellers and have great respect for others' culture, beliefs, their homes and their belongings. We love staying in the homes of other families and experiencing the world from their perspective! We are also FULLY VACCINATED for Covid-19 and are serious about maitaining everyone's health and safety! Michael is a Professor of Geology at the University of California, Davis (Website hidden by Airbnb) He has spent a lot of time doing research in far flung places such as Kazakhstan and on the Tibetan Plateau in China. Needless to say, we love to explore and engage with the world around us, and we will take great care of your space!
