We felt like a part of history staying in this camp! Wonderful location which provides the perfect getaway in Adirondacks! will definitely come back.

Absolutely perfect! Unfortunately we arrived after dark, so the drive up was pretty interesting lol, it made for a very spooky check-in experience because there was literally no one in sight, we were what felt like the last suvivors in the world lol But, we spoke to the gentleman in site and ge quickly made us feel safe and ge was so helpful and sweet! When we woke up the next morning we saw how beautiful the place truly was and so homey and peaceful. We explored the grounds and we absolutely love it there and cant wait to come back again. It might just be our new getaway! Thank you!

My boyfriend and I decided to go on a getaway trip during the Christmas holidays. The site is isolated and quiet, which made the experience very enjoyable. The host was quick to answer and easy to reach. The instructions were very clear on how to access the site. The wood cabin is fabulous. It’s both pretty and clean. It has a kitchen with all the amenities necessary to cook. We bought our food in Plattsburgh before heading there, as we knew there aren’t many grocery stores available in remote areas in ADK. The Great Room is beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations, which made it feel so cozy. The site is rich in history. A free walking tour map was provided, which made it easy to explore the site. As someone who loves the Adirondacks, I was immensely pleased. I will definitely go back there again. Had a great time. The space was very comfortable and cozy. Even on a rainy day in the off season it was beautiful. Would definitely stay again.
