Take it easy at this cozy and tranquil getaway in the woods we call The Little Cabin on Sunset Ponds. This cabin is on 13-acres with two ponds. It is also located right off the snowmobile trails/cross country ski trails in Gabriels, NY. It is fully equipped with everything you may need. Perfect place for a home base while you go on your very own Adirondack adventure. The VIC center is close by, fishing, lots of hiking and paddling… 10 minutes from Saranac Lake 30 minutes from Lake Placid 370 square foot newly built cabin on 13-acres with a total of three cabins on the property.

The perfect cabin for a long weekend!
My boyfriend and I stayed for a couple of nights with our dog Rhea! The location was great for us to visit Lake Placid and Burlington VT. Montreal would’ve been an option too if we’d planned better. Awesome private acreage with a spring fed pond that served as prime coffee drinking scenery each morning. Would return!

Great small place with lots of access to the surrounding area. We did a lot of hiking with a lot of the popular trails in the Adirondack’s being a short drive away. Great stay would definitely come back.

The little cabin is on a large amount of shared property. There are two small ponds, lots of wildlife and amazing sunsets. A friendly bunch lives here especially the dog, Jackson. He likes to hang out outside. If you book with us please let me know if you are not comfortable with dogs and we will make sure we try to keep him from showing up on your front porch to say hi. If you are bringing a dog and it does not get along with other dogs let us know that as well. The property is open for you to explore with the exception of close proximity of the other cabins.
Parking is located at the front of cabin. You’ll see the front door and porch.
