Our Family decided to stay on the water for fishing and an outdoor experience where we could be close to the water. When we arrived, we were extremely surprised to see how close to the water you really are. We were literally surrounded by water. Our teen daughter enjoyed watching the sun rise and set on the water. Our teen boys stayed out fishing on the beautiful pier almost all day and night. We caught Black drum, speckled trout and few stingrays and gafftops. We even enjoyed watching the dolphins swim buy. The house was the perfect size for our family and gave everyone enough space to relax and enjoy their time. The kitchen is big and open and gave us plenty of space to store all our our food and snacks. Lastly the laundry room was absolutely perfect for all the dirty fishing clothes we went through. We had no complaints and are hoping to come back very soon. We are grateful for a responsive host and the welcoming feeling.

Overall, we had a great stay. There were just some minor issues with the house. There was food and trash in the living room area that I had to sweep, and there was no hand soap in one of the bathrooms. In the big house, there was a room with bunk beds, and they made a lot of noise when my kids were trying to get comfortable and sleep. Also, in the backroom where we were sleeping, the shutter was hitting the house all night; I couldn't sleep and had been up since 4:30 am due to all the noise. That wasn't very good. Another big issue for me was that there needed to be locks on the bathroom doors. This was uncomfortable because anyone could walk in while someone was using it. Some of the plates were outdated and chipped. Some coffee was provided, but the container was empty, the coffee pot was dirty, and a fly was in it. The sugar provided had black things in it, so it was not used. The bathroom would also throw a lot of water out when we shower. The shower in the cottage was the same.

Loved my time at Sharon’s place. Visited on a work trip and wished I could have spent more time on the dock. Beautiful viewa

Beautiful spot on the water and home was spacious. Beautiful view unfortunately no biting from the fish but my son did catch a bite down the way.. House rules were pretty extensive, but overall nice stay!!
