The garden is well maintained by Sara. It certainly is just like the pictures! It's your own private oasis that you're looking forward to get back to from a day of exploring Big Island. I would definitely try to book a stay in the future, again.

The shower water was very hot just how I like it and is adjustable. The place was so beautiful, gorgeous and vibrant with plants. Wish we could’ve stayed longer, sara was an amazing and beyond host. It’s a great location with only a 30 minute drive to Hilo. 🤙🏽🌈🌺

It was absolutely amazing, new plants and surprises everywhere you looked. Sara was an excellent hostess. I would highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sara's place. Super easy to find and Sara was communicate leading up to my arrival and afterwards. The grounds are absolutely stunning, even by Hawaiian standards. She's obviously invested a ton of thought and labor into creating this little slice of paradise. All my needs and wants were met, including an outdoor shower (which has now reached "life goal" status) and plenty of different spots to plop down with a book. Downtown Pahoa was less than 10 minutes away so it was easy to grab a bite nearby. Highly recommend staying here if you want to explore the area south of Hilo.

Wow! This was one of the most unique places I’ve stayed! Loved the concept/layout and the yard/garden was stunning! Sara has poured a lot of love into this place and it shows. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
