Let me start off my saying I am not a professional maintenance person. I booked this house for a vacation. I spent much of my vacation calling Vacasa to alert them of the endless issues with this house, that had to be addressed asap. There was a major leak in the dining room raining down onto the dining table. The exterior doors didn’t lock (literally, so old they just wouldn’t lock and I had young kids in the house so this was important). The shower head in one of the bathrooms would pop off and spray water everywhere when turned on. The master shower didn’t work. There were no kitchen towels, no trash bags, coffee maker was like 20 years old and didn’t work. Although Vacasa was super responsive, the bottom line is this house needs a LOT of work. And it’s not enjoyable spending your vacation calling the Vacasa help line because the owners didn’t take the time to remedy these issues before they rented it. When I rent a house I just want to enjoy it and not play maintenance person.

We had a terrible experience at this home. When we arrived, the back gate and back door were open and unlocked. Although the house had clearly been cleaned, there were dirty/half full glasses sitting out on the first floor. The home advertises a chef’s kitchen, but there were no baking sheets or pans and the oven would not get above 250 degrees. Not being able to cook ruined the dinner we planned and the food we bought. There were limited trash cans and no wash cloths or hand towels. The sheets did not fit most beds and were just laid on top of the mattresses. There were also many outlets that were not functioning. In one of the downstairs rooms, the shower head was lying on the floor broken when we arrived. The sauna also never worked and the AC was not responsive either. I’ve reached out to Vacasa multiple times for a full week following my stay to report reconcile these visits. I’ve gotten no response from them. I do not reconvened staying at this home.
