Just back from a weekend stay with a party of 14 (couples and families). The house is beautiful and in a great location - you can easily reach the beach at the end of the road and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. However a few things let the property down. On arrival we searched for the hot tub (pictured in description) only to find there was no hot tub anymore which was a great disappointment. We also realised shortly after arrival that the kids beds (futons) were not made up. I called and messaged every number I had for Harbour Escapes but no one answered meaning that children had no bedding on the first night. We had booked for 14 people and only beds for 12 people were made up. The bedding was brought the next morning after lots more chasing. More responsive customer service and a hot tub as pictured would have made this a 5 star stay.

Enjoyed our stay, found the accommodation very well laid out, felt right at home. Manage to check in earlier than scheduled, which was nice.

We had a great stay with Harbour Escapes, the house is in a convenient location for the beach and is very well equipped. We were met by Rob, who showed us around the house and there was a nice welcome pack waiting for us which was very well received. All of the rooms were very comfortable and we all enjoyed our stay despite the bad weather.

We are returning guests of Harbour Escapes and this is our third time staying in Vista Mare. As always the house exceeded our expectations. We love the location that this property offers. It is very close to Sandbanks beach & the area has fantastic amenities in close proximity. The house has everything that we could possibly need for our stay and this is why we keep returning. The interior is modern & stylish and always spotless for our arrival. The hosts leave a gifted welcome pack that has all the key bits we need for settling in. We must mention that this time was most definitely our favorite experience staying at Vista Mare as there is a newly installed roof terrace with views of the harbour that left us speechless. The roof terrace gets the sunshine throughout the day and is beautifully furnished with modern outdoor seating. Thank you Harbour Escapes, we will definitely see you again soon!

This is an absolutely stunning property. The photos don't do it justice. It's even more beautiful in real life. The view is exceptional, especially from the master bedroom. Every detail is carefully thought out, and we had no complaints at all. Points to note: most of the bedrooms don't have a view. Although all are spacious and airy and incredibly comfortable, with en-suites, and you do spend most of your time in the living room or on the balcony, so not a problem. Also the stairs are quite steep. Not a problem for us but could be if you have elderly or young guests. The kitchen is fantastic, the cinema room is calm and quiet but we didn't actually use it as intended, there's too much else in the house to enjoy. Final, tiny point - opening the front door takes a little knack, push away from you before the final turn. It's worth everyone practicing at least once. All in all, a magnificent, glamorous, elegant house which is an absolute treat to stay in. Thank you for having us !
