Orehova vas is a settlement in the Municipality of Hoče–Slivnica in northeastern Slovenia. It lies on the edge of the flatlands on the right bank of the Drava River south of Maribor.
The city of Maribor is surrounded by hilltops with spectacular views of the area, like Piramida and Kalvarija; it will take 10 to 15 minutes of light walking to get to the top. If you wish to experience the nightlife in Maribor, a part of the riverbank of Drava called Lent offers many colorful bars, caffes, clubs and restaurants and also the world's oldest grapevine which is over 400 years old. Lent is also home to the Lent International Summer festival is a major art event that takes place for two weeks at the end of June. For other nightlife thrills you can also visit Poštna ulica near the main square.
If you are looking for recreation, the top recommendation is Pohorje just 7 km away from Maribor, accessible by a short ride (10 minutes by taxi or bus). Since I get a lot of reservations every day, I share my work with my partner agency AlpeAdriaBooker, so I can offer a better service to all my guests. This local agency from Brežice - Slovenia, acts as a connection point, by both maximising the potential for the renters (myself) and carrying for guests along every step of the way. That way the renters and myself have more time to be at guests disposal in person. You will be meeting me at the property, I will give you the keys, while my partners from the agency communicate with my guests online.
