The is a great spot! We stayed here to snowboard/ski Welch and this was the spot to be. The room is right next to the Tavern that has good Pizza and cold beer. Welch ski is less than a mile away (0.7 miles). My brother and I easily walked back to the apartment after having a few drinks at the Welch ski lodge. We then walked the 30 steps it takes to get to the bar next door and played darts, ate pizza, and sang karaoke all while feeling very welcome and even made some new friends. The next morning we woke up and ate a great breakfast at the Blue Dog Cafe. We didn’t know to make reservations but they fed us anyway and it was great. All around a great spot!

Great place to stay if you want to make the most of a weekend at Welch! Location is fantastic and the place was clean and homey.

Beware of the bar next door, they like to rip off people that are not from the area. We asked for three water makison shots and just gave us just Pineapple juice. They bar tender who was not older than 18 and drinking while working told us to leave because we weren't going to pay for them.

The location did not meet expectations, considering the price. The shower was ice cold. Even after running for a considerable time! Furthermore, there were clusters of Lady bugs in the corners of each of the bedroom walls. Lady bugs are well known for eating mites. We left and found lodging elsewhere.

We appreciated having this place to stay for a nearby wedding. The town of Welch was pretty empty in October so we didn’t do much in the area, but it was a convenient location for the wedding venue.
