Cora's place was my favorite Airbnb ever! It has a lovely setting overlooking the water, with beautiful sunrises (and sunsets) and everchanging tides. The house was spotlessly clean and had every convenience and the nicest touches - hooks by the door, fresh flowers, bathroom shelves, the softest blankets, etc. The kitchen was well-stocked with equipment - we ate in every chance because it was just such a nice place to be. Lots of wonderful walks and hikes in this part of the world and small towns to explore. So quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Cora’s cottage. The house and property offer the perfect landing pad for exploring coastal Maine. The cottage itself is recently renovated and outfitted with special touches throughout. The beds and linens were especially comfortable. The cozy bedroom with a view of the bay is the perfect place to cozy up with a book for an afternoon or rainy morning. We used Cora’s guidebook extensively and followed her suggestions as far as activities, restaurants and shops in the area. We explored Acadia National Park, ate seafood, searched for antiques and enjoyed the view from the deck. It was a perfect Spring Break! We hope to come back during fall sometime to se the changing leaves. We’ll always remember our stay at this sweet cottage in Maine!

This was a great place to stay, Cora was very attentive and responsive. She made us feel like family for which we are very thankful. Next time we are in Maine this will be our first choice

The scenery and peaceful surroundings can't be beat! The house is beautiful, reminding me of a Scandinavian cottage (including the location)! Though we went during a very cold month (28 degrees in the morning!), since we live in Maine, we knew what to expect. We had warm coats and enjoyed walking around the property, as well as hanging out on the deck at night with my son's telescope to view the stars. We also drove over to Acadia at night for the total darkness of Sand beach for star watching - but there's very little light pollution at Cora's place, so there was still plenty to see here. Though I love colder months, this would be an incredible place to come in the Spring or Summer, when you can really enjoy coffee on the deck. We also really appreciated the list of local suggestions she wrote up, and we spent the afternoon checking out the shops in Ellsworth and the Tidal Falls area.
