Our family is excited to share our unique, tranquil, quirky cabin with you! Come experience off-grid *lite* living with full wifi, projector tv, hot tub, indoor and outdoor shower, but with all the feels of a getaway cabin including a wood stove, composting toilet and gravity fed indoor shower. We're located 27 minutes from Acadia National Park, are surrounded by gorgeous local beaches, we offer free bikes for your stay, a fire pit, hammocks, and summer nights filled with fireflies. The cabin was built in 2023 and finished with all pine interior siding. It is all electric but has off-grid plumbing with an indoor hot shower and a composting, diverter toilet (ask us if you have any questions about this!). We have two bedrooms, one is up a ladder, so may not be accessible for some folks. Downstairs is a queen mattress, upstairs is a full bed, tv/movie space, and work station. We also have a daybed that serves as a couch or two small twin beds, optimal for kids and teens. We are happy to set up as many beds as you need for your stay in advance! We come from a hospitality family and are excited to make it cozy for you. Our kitchen has a mini-stove, electric burner, mini fridge, kitchen essentials for cooking and most importantly a coffee-maker. There's also an outdoor kitchen with a sink and a propane bbq. The cabin is suitable for kids and families but the upstairs is only accessible by a ladder and has a loft and railing opening that may not be safe for young children. Dogs are welcome! We have a bed, bowls, and treats for your stay! We love dogs and have a pack of our own! We ask that you keep yours on a leash when outside.
