It was more of a room than an apartment (which it is described as) but otherwise it was in a great location and was comfortable. Good communication from the host.

The apartment and location themselves are fine. I had an issue with the check-in where there was no key to my room. After contacting them it took over 3 hours to tell me they had misplaced the key and that I will be moved to another room. I had to repack all my stuff and move to a smaller room on another floor which was very inconvenient and wasted most of my first day.

It’s the first time I have ever had to undertake a conditional survey in an Airbnb and being threatened that a deposit could be withheld. If this is your approach maybe you should provide the customer with the condition you have provided the property in. I am not sure we’re to start. I provided pictures showing, multiple damages, lack of repair, dirty conditions, dirty bedding including cob webs and uncleaned sanitary wear. We had to wash the plates and cutlery before we used them. This was difficult when the plug to stop the water going down the sink has missing parts which prevents you from filling the sink with water. If we had somewhere else to stay we would have left.
