We are lucky to enjoy the peaceful countryside and playful atmosphere at the same time here at Les Hiboux. With vast space for children to run and play, or if you fancy quietly sunbathing by the pool, there is something for everyone here. We adapt to our guests and always go the extra mile to ensure you want to return year after year. We thrive on making our home your favourite place to be.
We are located in a small countryside hamlet with great neighbours. The area is made up of fields, forests, vineyards, walking paths, country roads and we are minutes away from the famous blue turquoise lakes et Guizengeard.

You will need a car to get around to do some shopping and visit all the attractions at your own pace. For the freedom to take a day trip to La Rochelle or maybe spend the day studying the local history and delicious delights the Charente has to offer. You can of course use the trains to head to Angoulême, or even Bordeaux. Maybe you love to walk, or bike ride, we are lucky to be surrounded by the stunning scenery that will ensure you have photographs and memories that you will revisit time and again. Your nearest bakery, butcher, pharmacy, mini supermarket, petrol station, bank and electric charging points are located in our local village Brossac, a 6 minutes drive away. they also have a Saturday morning weekly open air market proving fresh local produce including fish, cheeses, fruit & veg, local pineau and very soon it's own very pizza stall. Your nearest train station, larger supermarkets, various shops, bars & restaurants you will find in the local town of Chalais. Chalais is renowned for its weekly Monday morning market. Parking in the area is free and there is ample space. Even parking at the station is free.
