The property was absolutely stunning and very peaceful. Very spacious and well taken care of. The scenery at the time of our rental was absolutely perfect, plenty of snow and wildlife everywhere! The kids truly experienced a true Christmas. Thank you so much for allowing us into your home. We will definitely be renting with you again!!

We loved our stay! The home is beautiful and well stocked with everything guests need. We were easily able to prepare a family Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. We plan to return in the summer! Also, the hosts a great communicators about everything that is needed for check-in and check-out.

This is a New Mexico mountain paradise! The beautiful home is spacious and perched perfectly at the end of a mountain road. We saw a lot of wildlife including elk which he had never seen before. We went during spring break and there was A LOT of snow. I didn't expect there to be this much snow - it was very much a winter wonderland. The furnishings in the home are very nice and the floor to window ceilings are breathtaking to look through to see the falling snow. Because we came during spring break, we did pay about twice as much for the property, which was a little frustrating. Here's a tip - if you book through Angel Fire Resort Properties directly, you can save a lot (we wish we would have known this before). Though the master suite is amazing and extremely comfortable, the secondary bedrooms on the first floor were small and the beds/pillows were very hard, lumpy and not comfortable. The kitchen, though beautiful, had ONE dish towel and sponge to use. For our large group and all the cooking we did, we needed more. I will say that the resort property management was very accommodating in responding to our asks, and were able to bring us these things, a dish rack, and a swiffer mop (which were other asks of ours) the next day. The silver ware and cooking ware were semi-plentiful but very dated and worn. Also, the washer and dryer were literally probably 30+ years old. It took more than 3 hours to dry a load of laundry, which made it difficult for us to keep up with our large group and all the snow/ski clothes we were using. I would expect a home/property of this caliber to have updated cooking ware, new washer and dryer, and comfortable beds/pillows/linens throughout, so hopefully these are upgrades they will make soon. All in all - it was majestic and wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay with family and taking part in the beautiful New Mexican winter! I will also note that the property is within 5 miles of Angel Fire ski resort, which was very convenient! Also, note that the town of Angel Fire is very small and nearly everything closes at like 2 pm (at least on the weekdays), so do come prepared to do your own cooking. you will use the Lowe's grocery store quite a bit. The skiing and tubing were great at Angel Fire!
