Bentbrook BnB, a tranquil little cottage by the side of the road is central to everything that makes Southeast Ohio a paradise in every season! There's plenty to see and do that's just minutes away from this quaint little country getaway. If traffic noise is a problem for you, this might not be your perfect retreat, but we do provide white noise machines in each bedroom. This eclectic escape with its 1920s flair and modern comforts promises cozy, restful nights and leisurely mornings. The house (you'll have access to the main and upper floors) is about 1300 square feet. You can park right in front of the house on the road, or, weather permitting, down below in front of the white out-building. Bedroom One, with its shabby-chic country charm features a super-comfy memory foam queen sized bed and its own heating and cooling unit. Bedroom Two is upstairs and features a cozy boho seating area, perfect for morning coffee and a good book or good conversation. The unique, custom-built full-sized XL bed is loft-like, in that you'll have to use the step stool or built-in step rail to climb in and out, therefore, not well-suited to folks with mobility issues. There is a TV with Roku box available for use with your own apps. There is a heating and cooling unit in this space. The living room's comfy couch and chairs are perfect for game night at the coffee table, just hanging out and enjoying a glass of wine, or for watching your favorite movie or TV show through your own apps, free TV with Pluto, or anything available on Paramount+. The quaint dining room offers a pretty view of the woods behind the house and plenty of space for working, eating, or playing cards or a board game at the big farmhouse table. The kitchen has everything you'll need to create your favorite meals and includes a Keurig Coffee Maker with complimentary pods as well as a reusable pod in case you want to use your own coffee. The breakfast nook just off the kitchen is perfect for waking up with your morning coffee and watching the bluebirds play outside in the big back yard. Feel free to take the stairs down the side of the house to the back yard seating area under the awning, the picnic table under the magnolia trees, or to build a fire in the fire pit. We love the creepy antique swing set and plan to turn it into a safe swing for adults eventually, but for now, it's best just to admire it from afar and not sit on it, as it's not stable.
