Acorn Cottage is a great place to spend time in nature as group It looks even better than the pictures and is very spacious and well equipped. Its also very close to the city of Exeter where you have access to a lot of amenities. The place is so good that once you reach there you'll want to skip all your plans and just stay at the place.

We stayed in Acorn Cottage for a quiet girls weekend away from North Devon. I’ve previously stayed in the Dairy with relatives and just had to see the views again! Once again, they took my breath away! It’s the only air b n b I’ve returned to more than once! The girls were really happy with my choice. Check in was easy, Brett and Angela messages during to day to ask for ETA. The instructions for the front gate were easy, and we were met in person at the accommodation. The cottage was pristine. Everything was clean and the space was light and airy. The underfloor heating ensured we were cosy, we needn’t have bothered with our hot water bottles. We cooked both nights and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great range of equipment, good dish washer and a decent fridge for us all. We really enjoyed the complementary cream tea (cream first of course), thank you. The beds were comfy, and the showers were great. Thank you both for a great stay, see you again some time!

Eight of our family enjoyed a long weekend at Acorn Cottage. The weather was not favourable, it rained and howled a Gail most of the weekend, so we didn’t leave the cottage, except for a short walk 500 yards up the lane. Saturday night was the highlight of the weekend when we engaged a wonderful Chef Harry, from Green Cow, Farm to Table , to cook a celebratory meal for us all. It was extremely beautiful experience. It’s my first time in the country side of Devon and I really enjoyed this peaceful quiet place. The cottage was beautiful and comfy. Honestly looked more beautiful than the photos. Hosts were friendly. The only thing which bothered us that we weren’t allowed to have BBQ although no thing was mentioned about that when we made our reservation so as anyone who want to go for a picnic we prepared everything for BBQ and we even bought a charcoal grill for that. However when we asked the host they told us that it is strictly prohibited to have a BBQ.
