For a property that has quite a lot of potential due to its great location and view, this place has been very easily the most inconvenient place that I have stayed at through AirBnb. The checkin process was very disorganised. Due to the check-in details not being provided on the Airbnb listing, we called up a day in advance to enquire regarding the process. We were informed that we would be sent a text with the check-in information by 2 pm. We were only provided with the address for the time being. We unfortunately did not receive such a text so we tried to contact the hosts multiple times but to no avail. We finally got through to them at 2:40 pm, when we were informed that the text would be sent shortly. The whole interaction was quite unprofessional with the staff having very little knowledge as to the property, when asked where the lockbox with the keys would be. This whole ordeal alone merits this place a very low review but coupled with the fact that the location of the property has no reception within a 5 km radius leaves us feeling like the customer service provided to guests is not a priority to the hosts. As for the property itself, there were missing blinds and it felt quite neglected. The kitchen bin was missing the foot pedal with its metal prong sticking out which was also rusted. The upstairs toilet had a bin but had the spare toilet roll stored in it, which felt very unhygienic. One of us went to bed to find bugs crawling all over the bed despite having all the windows and doors closed. We did appreciate the stored items in the pantry and the extra cleaning products provided. Overall, for a property with amazing potential, it was quite a let down. Would not recommend this place and we are personally of the opinion that it is better to book Airbnbs managed by the actual owners rather than a third party company.
