Beautiful place. We would stay here again - communication with the host was excellent. On arrival to the island we were met by Keri who we followed in our Jeep (recommended!) to the villa and she gave us a tour and explanations. It was extremely helpful to follow her to the villa because the last 1/4 mile is down a one way dirt road (lots of bumps!) and I probably would have thought I was going the wrong way …. but we loved it…. It felt like a secluded paradise. The home is beautiful. It’s approximately a 10 to 12 minute drive out of town … but that is only about 1.5 miles - it’s just slow going around the steep hills and turns. We spent a lots of time exploring the island but equally spent time relaxing at our villa because it was amazing. The sunset views are just … WOW!

Villa Nanichi exceeded all expectations! The location was amazing, less than 10 minutes away from Cruz Bay and most of the beaches we wanted to go to. Jared met us at the ferry dock to lead us to the location on the first day for check in which was very helpful. The Villa was clean, very private, and we think offers the best view on the island that we had all week! None of the bar or hiking views beat our view at the villa, in our opinion, especially at sunset. Considering the cost of island living, the price was definitely in line with the amenities that this villa provided and we would gladly stay there again. The concierge/coordinator Keri ensured that we got all of the activities in that we wanted, but half of our days we could barely leave the villa because we loved it so much! It was a dream vacation. Jared does not ask you to do a ton of clean up before you leave the air bnb, which we liked. He has coolers and beach chairs that we put to great use while we were there. Highly recommend villa Nanichi!

We loved Villa Nanichi! It was perfect for 2 couples. We were close to hiking trails, town for shopping/dining, beaches, everything we wanted to do. Host was very helpful, met us at car rental to lead us to house. Even walked us through all the things we needed to know about the house. We loved spending time on the deck - in the pool or hot tub or just lounging and reading - and watching the gorgeous sunsets over the bay. Spectacular!

I hesitate writing this review bc I want to keep it all for myself. This place was absolutely perfect for my little family (2 bedrooms). Location was perfect, in the hills away from the chaos of town but close enough to drive in 10 ish minutes. The view was even better than pictured! The house was even better than pictures!!!Fabulous linens, wonderful furnishings and decor, well stocked kitchen, great book selection, binoculars for whale watching…I could go on and on. Little touches that made it really special were a beach bag for our use, coolers and beach chairs, and books from local authors/authors that write about St. John. And CLEAN like I’ve never seen a rental. Even under the beds (since I had to crawl around and find my AirPods every morning) were spotless!!!! We found ourselves racing back at the end of every day to enjoy sunset and dinner on the deck. Honestly couldn’t imagine spending a sunset anywhere else!! Communication with the hosts team was superb-even met us at the ferry dock and escorted us to the property. They also recommended a provisioning service that was clutch-the food and drinks were in the house/fridge when we arrived after a very long travel day. Highly recommend! The very secluded house is located in the hills(Gifft Hill)- a little bit of a tricky drive if you’re not used to it, but it became second nature before long. I felt safe at all times! Will absolutely rent again. Same week next year soooo hands off lol;)
