We enjoyed our stay, albeit it very short. The pass on State Route 20 was closed so we ended up having to go via U.S. Route 2 which more than doubled our travel time. If you’re coming from the coast in the winter the weather can greatly change your route. As we were only staying for one night and arrived late we didn’t get to enjoy the amenities as much as we wanted to. The space was clean and cozy, all you need to build a fire was easily accessible and the bed was decently comfortable. We’re keen to stay again when we have more time as there’s lots to do both on the property as well as a short drive away. As other reviewers mentioned, there’s a bit of a disconnect on the value side. For what you’re paying you’d expect a little more.

although my unit was clean, and I was easy to get into, I did not realize that it was like a KOA where there was no sink in the room when you had to go to a communal shower and sink. I thought they would at least be a sink in the room. the toilet next to the room was also a surprise like at a camping area. In other words, I thought it would be more like a motel and not like a KOA even though everything there was clean but it was just not what I expected for over $200. we did leave my wife’s Kindle there on the bed. We tried all day to notify the host about it but there was no communication available either by telephone or text or Aer B&B support. We wanted the candle to be mailed to our home, we would pay the postage charges. We are still waiting for something to be done in that regard.

What a great tiny getaway, with views of the mountains! We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return. We love the rustic and flexible accommodations for weekend adventures.

We'll be back, loved the proximity to both Mazama and Winthrop, and the skate ski trail right there. Enjoyed the camping experience with a great bed, and a hot shower... was perfect for us. Thank you Abby, hope we left things better than we found them... ! Janelle
