Our stay was exactly what I wanted! The cabin looked and smelled homey! We were greeted by a beautiful welcome sign, thank you card with a gift card inside for a local pizza restaurant (which ended up being really good), and a box of fudge from a local vendor. We had complete privacy, and all the amenities you'd need (including bottled water!). They even reached out to make sure we didn't need more! I can't say enough good about this place! Super clean, everything was fresh and comfortable to use as well! my children even commented on how soft the linen and towels were! haha. Overall an amazing, wonderful experience! I highly recommend staying with Wendel and Pam!

Hosts were absolutely amazing and very thoughtful! Place was better than described! Was very clean and had everything you could possibly need while you are there! Was perfect for our dog. He loved exploring the creek on the property! Enjoyed drinking our coffee on the back porch while watching all the wildlife! Very private and peaceful!

We spent three days in Red River Gorge area hiking, kayaking and ziplining. We loved the location! It is a bit in the country, but it was so quiet and so private. Please not what address to use for GPS which he tells you. As he says if you use the Airbnb listed address you will be on the middle of a country road without a dwelling!. We were so appreciative of being able to have Story our dog stay with us. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub! Wendell is the most responsive host we have encountered in the Airbnb journey and most of our Airbnb experiences have been very good. We asked to have a copy of the Kentucky map or inquired where we could purchase one, and asked if he had eggs for sale and he gave us both. Highly recommend.

We are no strangers to AirBnb stays and Wendell’s cabin met or exceeded every expectation. It was cozy , clean and offered many great amenities. He and Pam were generous and helpful, checking to make sure we had everything we needed. If we return to hike in the Daniel Boone Nat’l Forest, we will definitely stay there again!
