自我介绍

My husband Jim and I have a blended family of 6 adult children, 6 grandchildren, 2 rescue cats, 1 recue dog, and 5 chickens. God has blessed us to find each other later in life than most but we've got our groove on now and living life to the fullest! We value our family time and have gatherings every chance we get. We are also very entertained and amused by our animals and hope to continue rescuing more as time goes on. As for me, I am a local and my family hails from this area dating back to 1816. Jim is originally from the amazing Chicago area but lived in Lexington, KY the past 22 years and has now found a love and appreciation for my small hometown. He's a cyclist and enjoys routinely riding all the backroads of our rural community. Because of this, he now knows all the backroads even better than I! A couple of things we have in common is our thirst to continually grow our relationship with God and try to keep Him in the center of our life. We know we don't want to do this life without Him and are so thankful for His mercy and grace and blessings. We certainly count our guests among those blessings! Another thing we both enjoy is world travel. We venture every chance we get. In the past few years we've been to New Zealand, Australia, Patagonia, Brazil, St. Croix , Chile, and Mexico to name a few. So we love to travel as much as possible but have recently discovered our LOVE for hosting as well. Hosting gives us a chance to learn about your travels, adventures, and journeys and your stories of travel often intrigue and inspire us. Or, even if just a self check in, we can hopefully leave you with a lasting impression of our super clean spaces and thoughtful touches. We would genuinely love a chance to host you and your guest and would promise to apply all the tips we've learned from our travel to make your experience the best it can be. We live locally and can assist when needed or we can give you complete privacy with no contact and self check in. We will follow your lead! Come stay with us!
